Additional Services
Pool and Spa Inspection
If you’re about to commit to a home with a pool, be sure to receive an inspection from a qualified pool inspector. RC Inspect has years of experience and is certified for pool and spa operations and inspections.
Inspections include the swimming pool and spa’s safety, water pH level, structural and mechanical components, decking, and special features.
Sprinkler System
If your home has a sprinkler system, it is a convenient way to keep your yard lush and green. However, if sprinkler heads are damaged or zones are not working properly, you could be wasting a significant amount of water or causing unforeseen issues. Our inspectors evaluate your irrigation system notating any deficiencies or trouble spots. This service is included, up to 8 zones, with all general residential inspections but can be a stand-alone service.
Drone Roof Inspection
Just because certain areas on your roof are hidden from view doesn’t mean they’re out of reach for a full inspection. By using an aerial drone, RC Inspect home inspectors can stay safely on the ground while looking for roofing issues such as missing shingles or rusted flashing.
Drone features such as high-resolution imaging and videography give our inspectors the ability to document roof conditions accurately and reliably.
Infrared Thermal Imaging Inspection
Issues behind walls are difficult to detect when there are no cues on the visual wall. By performing a thermal imaging scan, potential electrical issues, insufficient insulation, air and water leaks, moisture penetration, and other deficiencies can be detected. A scan of the electrical panel, HVAC cabinet, and shower pan is included with every residential inspection. Our inspectors are also available to perform a full home scan.
Outdoor Amenities
As our spaces have integrated indoor and outdoor, it is important for inspections to do the same. At RC Inspect, we recognize that your outdoor spaces are just as important as the indoor ones. We offer inspections for outdoor amenities such as kitchens, fireplaces, fire pits, and pergolas.
Outbuildings
An outbuilding is nice to have when you require extra storage, workspace or maybe just a place to get away. Our inspectors will analyze the structural, plumbing and electrical components of sheds, detached garages, workshops, garage apartments or any other outbuildings your property may have.
Wood-Destroying Insects & Pests
The structural integrity of a home can be compromised by wood-destroying insects and pests; therefore RC Inspect has partnered with a 3rd party company to provide this valuable service. The home will be thoroughly inspected for past and current evidence of damage caused by pests and wood-destroying insects such as: termites, wood-boring beetles, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, rodents, raccoons, birds, and bats.
Well & Septic Inspections
If your home or potential home has a well and septic system, we highly encourage you to have it inspected. Our inspectors are certified in well and septic and will comprehensively analyze your aerobic or conventional system for performance issues and defects. Should the tank be accessible, the interior condition will be evaluated and a dye test performed.
Boat Dock & Bulkhead Inspection
Time by the water can bring immense joy and relaxation. Allow our inspectors to put your mind at ease with an inspection of your dock, bulkhead, lift and pier. RC Inspect will check the visible and accessible features for damage or decay as well as the functionality of each component, including electrical and plumbing.
House Elevation Plotting
Should you have concerns of an un-level or sloping floor, a house elevation inspection can be completed in which we are able to measure the slope of the floor within one tenth of an inch. You will be provided with a layout of the home notating the measurements identified.
Home Maintenance Inspection
Keeping your home well maintained is not only critical to its longevity but also to its resale value. With our home maintenance inspection, we will identify areas of concern, and along with your report provide a maintenance schedule to aid you going forward.
Re-Inspection
Should repairs have been completed to address defect components on an initial inspection, you may want to consider a Re-Inspection for those elements. This will give you the peace of mind that repairs were properly executed.
4 Point
A 4 point inspection is often requested by insurance companies to issue or renew a policy. The inspection encompasses an assessment of plumbing and electrical systems, HVAC and roof.
